Jenni Donald began her working life as a Microbiologist in the dairy and veterinary vaccine industry then returned to Massey University to complete her veterinary degree in 1990. After graduating she spent 3 years in small animal practice then went back to Massey and completed a combined PhD/residency in pathology.
After completion of the PhD in 1998, Jenni took up an instructor position in Clinical Pathology at the University of Missouri which lead to the successful completion of the AVCP board exams in 2000. Jenni returned to New Zealand in October 2000 and has worked in veterinary diagnostic laboratories since. Her interests are in cytology, haematology, biochemistry and endocrinology with a bent towards companion animal and equine medicine.
In her spare time Jenni can be found in the garden, on her bike or at the archery range shooting arrows.
