Gribbles Veterinary Auckland provides diagnostic laboratory services to veterinary practitioners in the upper North Island.  Situated in Mt Wellington, the laboratory offers a full range of diagnostic testing including biochemistry, haematology, immunology, endocrinology, parasitology, microbiology, histopathology and cytology to clients in both small and large animal practice. This dedicated team specialises predominantly in small and exotic animal pathology.

Our modern laboratory is situated on the same site as our sister company, Labtests Auckland, affording us the opportunity to share resources and services.

Our quality systems include International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for biological testing.

Gribbles Veterinary Palmerston North provides a comprehensive range of pathology services to both the local and national veterinary communities. The laboratory comprises a highly experienced staff with expertise in histopathology, cytology, serology, molecular diagnostics, parasitology, microbiology, haematology and biochemistry.

The Palmerston North laboratory specialises molecular diagnostics, and offers a diverse range of PCR assays aimed at both large and small animal disease identification. We also offer New Zealand’s most comprehensive commercial export testing service, assisting exporters with their testing requirements for the export of live animals and germplasm.

Our quality systems include International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for biological testing and accreditation under the Ministry for Primary Industries’ Recognised Laboratory Programme (formerly Export Laboratory Programme) for live animal and germplasm export testing.

Gribbles Veterinary Christchurch offers diagnostic testing and pathology services on behalf of rural and urban veterinary clinics throughout the South Island. Gribbles Veterinary Christchurch offers a full range of diagnostic testing including haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, microbiology, parasitology and histopathology. We offer our South Island-based clients timely, accurate and repeatable results, together with expert interpretations and advice.

Our quality systems include International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for biological testing and OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).  We the only veterinary diagnostic laboratory in New Zealand with accreditation for GLP Compliance monitoring.

Gribbles Veterinary Dunedin

Gribbles Veterinary Dunedin, situated on the Invermay Research Centre campus in Mosgiel, provides a comprehensive diagnostic testing service for veterinary clinics throughout Otago and Southland.  Services provided by the laboratory include biochemistry, haematology, histopathology, cytology, microbiology, parasitology and nutritional chemistry. In addition, the Dunedin laboratory also specialises in trace element analyses, and has invested heavily in the latest instrumentation to provide turnaround times that we believe are unrivalled in New Zealand.

The laboratory also provides a comprehensive chemical and microbiological analytical service for the food industry, and performs feed/ meal and water testing for a number of clients nationally.

Our quality systems include International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for both veterinary and analytical testing, plus accreditation under the Ministry for Primary Industries’ Recognised Laboratory Programme (formerly Laboratory Approval Scheme (LAS) accreditation) for analytical services.
