Gribbles Veterinary Auckland provides diagnostic laboratory services to veterinary practitioners in the upper North Island. Situated in Mt Wellington, the laboratory offers a full range of diagnostic testing including biochemistry, haematology, immunology, endocrinology, parasitology, microbiology, histopathology and cytology to clients in both small and large animal practice. We are a dedicated and client-focused team comprising experienced clinical and anatomic pathologists, scientists, technicians and administration staff, specialising predominantly in small and exotic animal pathology.
Our modern veterinary laboratory is situated on the same site as our sister company, Labtests Auckland, and we routinely work in conjunction with Labtests' pathologists and scientists to develop new tests for the benefit of New Zealand's animal health sector.
Our quality systems include International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation to NZS ISO/IEC 17025: 2005.

Predominantly serving the production animal and equine sectors, the laboratory is heavily influenced by seasonal fluctuations in workload and is intrinsically linked to the economic success of the local and national farming sector.
Hamilton's location in the heart of New Zealand's dairy industry, and our close proximity and ties with the Ruakura Research Centre, fosters our relationship with agricultural scientists, enhances our knowledge, and stimulates our interest in agricultural research activities.

Gribbles Veterinary Palmerston North provides a comprehensive range of pathology services to both the local and national veterinary communities. The laboratory comprises a highly experienced staff with expertise in histopathology, clinical pathology, serology, molecular diagnostics, parasitology, microbiology, haematology and biochemistry.
The Palmerston North laboratory is home to Gribbles Veterinary's molecular diagnostics facility, run by Dr David Tisdall and offering a diverse range of PCR assays aimed at both large and small animal disease identification. Also on the staff we have Dr Phil McKenna providing world-class parasitology expertise for our national network. The Palmerston North laboratory also offers New Zealand's most comprehensive commercial export testing service, assisting exporters with their testing requirements for the export of live animals and germplasm.

Gribbles Veterinary Christchurch
Gribbles Veterinary Christchurch offers diagnostic testing and pathology services on behalf of rural and urban veterinary clinics throughout the South Island. This busy laboratory processes in excess of 25,000 cases each year, with approximately half of these submissions representing small animal cases, and the remaining cases comprising production animals, horses, zoo animals and feral species.
Gribbles Veterinary Christchurch offers a full range of diagnostic testing including haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, microbiology, parasitology and histopathology. With state-of-the-art instrumentation and analysers, together with a highly skilled workforce, we offer our South Island-based clients timely, accurate and repeatable results, together with expert interpretations and advice.

Gribbles Veterinary Dunedin, situated on the Invermay Research Centre campus in Mosgiel, provides a comprehensive diagnostic testing service for veterinary clinics throughout Otago and Southland. Our resident pathologist, Dr John Gill, has over 30 years animal health experience gained in the local area, making him an invaluable resource for practitioners.
Services provided by the laboratory include biochemistry, haematology, histopathology, cytology, microbiology, parasitology and nutritional chemistry. In addition, the Dunedin laboratory also specialises in trace element analyses, and has invested heavily in the latest instrumentation to provide turnaround times that we believe are unrivalled in New Zealand.
The laboratory also provides a comprehensive chemical and microbiological analytical service for the food industry, and performs feed/ meal and water testing for a number of clients nationally.
