We received an update from New Zealand couriers today regarding issues they are experiencing across New Zealand, but especially in the Auckland region.
The NZC network is close to maximum capacity and is experiencing delays which they forecast to last until the end of Christmas. They are aiming for but can’t guarantee an overnight service.
Delays will impact the transport time for samples you send to your local laboratory, as well as samples we refer within our network. Please be very mindful that if results are taking longer than normal to be received, it is more than likely due to the samples being delayed in transit.
With the warmer weather now upon us, it also is timely to remind you to ensure an ice-pak is included with all samples submitted via commercial courier. This will help ensure your samples are received in tip-top condition for testing.
