Dr David Tisdall
BVSc. BPhil. PhD
David is Awanui Veterinary’s Senior Scientist and heads up the network’s molecular diagnostics facility, based at our Palmerston North laboratory. He is a graduate of Massey University (Veterinary Science) and also has a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Otago.
David has specialised knowledge and an interest in veterinary virology and molecular microbiology, as well as a research background in molecular endocrinology and animal genomics. He is a registered veterinarian and member of the New Zealand Veterinary Association and New Zealand Microbiological Society.
Personal interests include his family, violin making, music, walking and gardening.
