Jo Drake

Jo began working as a medical laboratory technician at Hutt Hospital before joining the MAF Animal Health Laboratory in Wallaceville back in 1992. Since then Jo has been serology team leader in the MAF AHL, lab manager in the AgriQuality AHL, admin manager and the IT “super-guru” for our laboratory computer system at Gribbles Veterinary and recently was the business development manager for the lower half of the North Island. Based at our Palmerston North laboratory, Jo’s lengthy experience in the laboratory and extensive knowledge of both the laboratory and client software programmes has made it easy for her to look after both clients as being responsible for the IT/admin functions.
Outside of work Jo enjoys reading, gardening, walking the dog and supporting her partner round many a marathon course (purely from the sidelines as her own marathon days are now behind her).
