Companion Animal Category Manager

After 12 years within retail sales and management, Chrissy, a trained vet nurse, ventured into territory sales management with Effem Foods. She managed their veterinary specialist diets and premium pet food range for clients across the South Island. After 2 successful years, she joined Boehringer Ingelheim moving into veterinary pharmaceuticals working with small and large animal products and practitioners.  Five years later Chrissy transferred to Western Australia with Boehringer to open up new territory for them and quickly established a successful business environment. She was relocated back to New Zealand as the National Sales Manager for Boehringer’s Veterinary Division, a position she successfully held for more than two years.

Chrissy was asked to join Pfizer Animal Health in their marketing team, managing products within their companion animal segment. There for more than 6 years she marketed: Revolution, the companion animal vaccines portfolio and a third party range of dermatological products, all of which experienced significant year on year growth.   Aside from continuing to study, wanting to further develop marketing skills and widen retail channel experience, Chrissy joined NZ company Douglas Pharmaceuticals marketing the Clinicians range of health supplements, Phloe and Bio Oil for two years. The last 14 months were spent within the dental sector, managing the multi-million dollar equipment portfolio achieving double digit growth for Ivoclar Vivadent, a global dental business supplying dental units and plant equipment to dentists across New Zealand.     

Chrissy is very pleased to have joined our business. She is passionate about providing a great customer experience.
